Wildside Tours Cocoa Beach Florida was a lot of fun!

Wildside Tours in Cocoa Beach, Florida is a great way to spend time with the entire family. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and very patient with their customers. They answered questions and offered interesting facts about the surrounding ecosystem.

They have items on board to share with the children to educate them a little about the interesting nature in the area. And, at one point they even let one of the kids on board “steer” the catamaran to the child’s great enjoyment.

We were staying in Cocoa Beach for a few days of relaxing at the beach and to enjoy some of the activities there. Wildside Tours Cocoa Beach Florida was one of the activities we decided to try. We wrote a post on enjoyable things to do in Cocoa Beach, where we also mentioned where we stayed.

Plenty of Wildlife to Enjoy on Wildside Tours Cocoa Beach FL!

We booked the 9:30am tour because the weather would be a little cooler. Also, we were hoping to see more wildlife earlier in the day. That turned out to be the right thing to do. The weather was great and we saw a good viariety of wildlife.

Some of the wildlife we were able to see were alligators, dolphins, raccoons and several different species of birds and ducks. It was also fun to watch as anglers boating in the river realed in their catch.

Great Opportunities for Nature Photographers on Wildside Tours Cocoa Beach FL

Our caption stopped along the way so we could view wildlife along the banks of the river, in the water or flying overhead. Never in a hurry, he always asked if we were ready to continue on being sure we all had a chance to view and photography the wildlife.

The owners of Wildside Tours Cocoa Beach Florida graciously offered cold water and soft drinks to everyone on board. They also handed out binoculars which was a great help to those that wished to use them. Also, there’s a downstairs restroom should you or your children need to use it. That came in handy a couple of times for the children.

Friendly dolphins followed alongside our boat

It was so cool seeing the dolphins swimming along side our boat and watching the birds hunting in the mangroves. We will definitely go back the next time we are in the Cocoa Beach area. It was a pleasant and relaxing way to spend our morning. The tour lasted about 2 hours but honestly it seemed longer to us. Thank you Wildside Tours for a great experience!
