Hi Thomas, so nice to hear that our post and photos brought back such nice memories for you. St John in the US Virgin Islands is full of tropical beauty and I think once you have visited, you always have those wonderful memories to look back on and share with others. I was saddened to see the destruction wrought by Hurricane Irma too. We are planning a return trip soon and will be retracing our steps to both St John and St Thomas. We are looking forward to exploring both islands and all their tropical beauty again!

Island about 20 years ago. Your pictures are beautiful and bring back many pleasant memories. The names of the bays and your descriptions reminded us of the island bus tour that we took the mongoose, monkeys and sugar mill and the beautiful tropical island paradise that we remember.

We also saw pictures of the recent destruction wrought by Hurricane Irma on St. John. We pray for the safety of the people and rapid recovery of that beautiful island.
