Where is Disney Springs?
Disney Springs is located at 1486 East Buena Vista Drive, Orlando, FL 32830. Self parking and admission are free. Guest to all Disney Resorts can get there by taking Disney Transportation. You can visit the Disney Springs website here.
What’s in Disney Springs?
Restaurants: From top end gourmet dining to fun filled dining atmosphere for the entire family
The House of Blues Restaurant has live entertainment and shopping. The restaurant offers American cuisine with a New Orleans twist.
Bongos Cuban Cafe offered dining, live music and shopping. Sadly, Bongos has closed.
Shopping: Amazingly beautiful and creatively decorated shops!
The World of Disney Store is the world’s largest Disney character store! Shopping in this enchanted store for all things Disney is sure to delight the young and the young at heart.
One of my favorite shops at Disney Springs is the Candy Cauldron. Treats with a Disney twist …yum!
Amusement: From balloon rides to boat rides!
You can ascend 400 feet in the air during an 8 minute tethered balloon ride. On a clear day you can enjoy vistas up to 10 miles away. How’s that for a view!! You can also rent a boat and cruise around the lake.
Entertainment: From live music to live acrobatics!
Cirque Du Soleil straight ahead, where you can watch a thrilling acrobatics show, one not to be missed!
Relaxation…Who knew?
TIP: You can enjoy a leisurely 20 minute boat ride (weather permitting) from Disney Springs, next to the Rainforest Café, to Port Orleans and back at no charge. Something I would highly recommend as a resting point during your day. There are several dining options at Port Orleans for your enjoyment.
The holidays are on of our favorite times to visit. The decorations, holiday music and added entertainment are sure to add some “Magic” to your day! Love the website! The kids love Disney Marketplace. We have to go there every time we are in town. Leah loves the Rainforest Cafe. She is always nervous when we first sit down because of all the animals and the noises but warms up to it and then doesn’t stop talking about it our entire trip. Thanks for the info about the boat ride. We saw them last time we were there but thought you had to pay to ride them, definitely do that next time we visit. We still need to check out the T-Rex restaurant but Leah is afriad of the dinosaurs right now so maybe in a couple of years. Unless, she makes Collin scared of them and then it will be even longer…lol.

I know what you mean though; it really does have a lot going on for kids to be in awe of, it’s a special place to visit for sure. I think T-REX is a fun place too, but waiting until the kids are a little older is probably best. The boat ride, if time permits, is really a nice relaxing ride that the entire family can enjoy. I love Disney Village as well. You sure have captured all the great things to see. The grandchildren love The Rainforest Cafe but we haven’t visited The T-REX restaurant yet. It looks like a fun and exciting place to dine that we’ll be sure to visit next time!
