In reply to Becky Padmore. You're right Becky, it is such an interesting place to visit that we have gone twice! We love the drive through the mountains of Puerto Rico, the friendly people we have met along the way and of course the livestock we saw as well.

In reply to Val-This Way To Paradise. Hi Val! Arecibo is indeed unique, and the produce stand was amazing too! I wish we saw more like this in the US, I for one would be eating more fresh veggies.

That looks like a unique thing to do while you are there if nothing else for the produce stand. Wish they had more stands like that in the US. Maybe then, the farmers would be better off, too!

This is so interesting; I enjoyed reading about it. I wish that produce stand was down the street from my home….everything looks so fresh and delicious. I want to try those mini-banana’s and boil a big pot of the lovely green beans!
