I’ve hiked, climbed, and crawled over and under innumerable rock formations there. I see something different every time.

If you can, come on up Oct. 8-11th for the 31st annual event.

Many Hollywood movies were made here. While I do admit to not having watched many of the 400-plus movies that were filmed in this location, it was a treat to see the landscape. It was like, where am I? This is so cool. Some people camp overnight here. I love how the movie museum is nearby. I went to the Alabama Hills first, then the museum. And, oh, there are so many wonderful opportunities for photography. This place is FREE and well-maintained.
